From a recent article about Kate Mulgrew. . .
"On top of that, she's been writing a book of poetry, which has been more difficult than she expected."
Hahaha!
She should have just asked Jewel.

Date: 2005-09-26 10:02 pm (UTC)The book was crap, of course, but I didn't realize that, I was just taken with the whole idea of poetry. And looking back, there are a *few* poems in there that are decent. They deal with the pain of growing up, and are probably decent because she had experienced what she was writing about.
I don't think Mulgrew can do worse than Jewel, at least she realizes that poetry *is* hard. I don't think Jewel ever did.
