Reveals are up at hoggywartyxmas!

I've added authors' and artists' names to my recs post.

This year was the final appearance of Hoggywarty in its gift exchange incarnation, but the community has become so special to many of us that the mods are going to find ways to continue the communal fun next year. So stay tuned!

Sadly, I no longer have an LJ account and it won't let me read any of these, or even access the community without having one.

I'm sad to know that HoggyWarty Xmas is going away. I enjoyed the many times that I've read the stories. I think I even wrote in it once or twice :)

Leela!! So good to see you, my dear! How have you been? I miss getting excellent new HP stories from you (though I have many of your old ones in my keeper file).

Sorry that LJ won't let you in. Odd; I thought anyone could access a public community whether they had an account or not. Guess I was wrong. Are you able to see the Reveals list at all? If there's anything that interest you, I could forward it.

We (The Real Snape and I) are going to try to find ways to keep some form of Hoggywarty going next year. . .just not a formal gift exchange.

I'm okay. Trying to get myself back into fandom but having a hard time finding something that suits me to write.

Also, living on the west-most coast, we're trying not to float away. We've mostly had power outages and downed trees from the crazy storms around here. The closest major flooding is about 30 miles away. Ugh...

I couldn't see anything at all on LJ. It just prompted me to reactivate my account to see everything.

I'm glad you're going to try to keep the fest going. I've become more fond of prompt fests, although that runs into the issue of people complaining if their prompts aren't picked up.

Oh, interesting, when I entered the link into another browser that I'd never used for my own account, it let me view the reveals page. That is fascinating.

Maybe I should cave and clear my browser cache. Ugh...

I'm glad you're not suffering too badly from the terrible CA storms. I've been looking at photos -- devastating. I hope the worst of it has passed.

The chance I had to participate in Hoggywarty last year is something I'll cherish. Thank you for encouraging me to give it a try. What a lovely community. The stories and the art from others made for warm hugs in dreary times. Here is to hoping that some variation of the very special gathering will continue next year. Thank you for everything TRS and you did to build a little Hogwarts of our own!
