There was the charming, funny McGonagall/Moody story of 2010, followed by the fabulously wonderful Minerva/Elphinstone epic of 2011. 2012 brought me the bitterly beautiful and beautifully bitter Four Christmases. In 2013, I received one of my favorite things -- a fine poem by a real wordsmith.
Now here we are in 2014, and I've received yet another jewel in myhoggywartyxmas crown. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this story is one of the best HP fics I've ever read: full of insight, bite, dry wit, erotic edge, and expert characterization.
If you don't read We'll Take a Cup of Kindness Yet, you'll be cheating yourself. Aberforth/Minerva/Severus are the stars, and you'll rarely see them done better. In several senses. Read this now!
