Big Post o' HP Fandom

But I'm sort of in the eye of the hurricane at the moment, so let me improve the shining hour with some public service announcements about the many Fun Fannish Things that are going on in HP-land at the moment.

minerva_fest has finished its 2014 run; check out the Reveals here. There's enough high-quality fic and art to keep you happy for days. My thanks to all my dear flisties who participated, either by submitting (I'm so grateful -- I've put my first-born in the mail for you. Check your box) or by reading and commenting.
Other fun things:
•femslash_remix is back! Even if you don't think you'll have time to write, you should consider offering your femmeslash to be remixed by others. No work required -- just give your permission and provide a link to your stuff. Sign-ups are here.
• There's a really fun new comm calledhp-reunion, where current and past HP fans are gathering to reminisce and to discuss the books and films and HP cons and just generally to renew auld acquaintance. Check out the roll call here.
• Prompting is open for the Salt and Pepper Fest athp_goldenage. Go over and leave lots of old-people prompts. Let's make this community the success it deserves to be.
• I had a fanfic-writing slow-down last spring, but in the past couple of months, I've found myself pretty active again, with stories appearing inminerva_fest, hp_silencio, hp_halloween, and hp_concrit_fest. Watch for story reposts soon. Concrit_Fest is still ongoing, and what fun it is turning out to be: we all give and receive helpful concrit on our fics. I'll report more later, when I repost my story.
