It's Over!

My sabbatical is over, and I have to go home next week. I can't tell you how much I wish I had another three years off. I'd even settle for another month. Of course, I realize that I can't expect much sympathy from you folks who don't get to take every seventh year off *g*. Ah, well -- only about 20 years till retirement!

And no, I didn't get my book finished. But I did get some good work done. The whole experience has been such a pleasure that I almost fear that something terrible is now going to happen, just to make up for such a nice year.

It was over 100 degrees F today in NYC, which doesn't make packing any easier. But it does make gin-and-tonics taste that much better.
