Haiti Relief

leela_cat  and atdelphi are participating in an auction for the Haitian relief effort.  It's a clever, useful idea, so I thought I'd toss my hat into the ring, even if this means having to cut back on one of my planned fests this semester.

You can find my offer here at the help_haiti comm.   Once you provide proof of your donation (you can find a list on on-line donation sites here and many places on the web), I'll talk with you about your preferences and do my best to have the fic to you by February 15.

ETA (as per tetleythesecond's comment) -- If you bid on any of the auctions, please consider not designating  your funds for Haiti only; it really restricts the charities.  Many organizations let you donate to "greatest need," and since Haiti is definitely that right now, it's very likely your money will go straight there.  But charities need to be able to replenish their regular stocks once a crisis is over
