I find this story vaguely embarrassing, although it inspired such a fine spin-off by therealsnape that I need to post the original so that the sequel gets its chance to shine. Didn't thank you properly for those lovely words. Don't repost if you really feel embarrassed. You've published so much already, indulge yourself. It's your story, to do with as you please. On the other hand, no actual need to feel embarrassed - there's so much to love in that story, and it's not a crime to write an angstless tale. You could do much worse: there are no green-eyed kittens, no dripping folds.
