'Tis the Season of Fandom Gifts!

Life has been busy this week, and so has HP fandom. I'm happy to report that I've received a couple of generous gifts:

1. My fine hoggywartyxmas present has been posted.

Baby, it's cold outside by Anonymous (Millicent/Pansy with appearances by Severus, Hermione, and other assorted Hogwartians; G)
Well-written, deftly-characterized, funny, and poignant.

If you haven't already been reveling in the excellence that is hoggywartyxmas, you should hie yourself over there at once. This fest is always one of the best of the best, and this year is no exception.

2. I also participated in the hpsapphicappeal "Sapphic Stockings" gift exchange. The idea is that participants post their femmeslash wishes, and other participants stuff the stockings with secret offerings that are unscreened on New Year's Eve.

Today was opening day, and my stocking received one gift: a lovely set of icons featuring Minerva, Poppy, and my first-ever Walburga, from the kind leontinabowie. (If you're on LJ, you can see Walburga above.)

Elsewhere in my fannish life, I've been finishing my fic for the upcoming severus_snape fest, and I'm going to do my best to complete a fill for daily_deviant's Kinky Komment Fest, which ends tonight. (What, me do things at the last minute?)
