ugh. so, it was nothing very dramatic. I was with clyde_man and fellow fan bounce_n_jiggle (who in fact got the autograph and then generously bequeathed it to me). since it seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, we went and waited at the stage door with other groupies. the sort of situation I am already quite uncomfortable with. KM came out looking absolutely haggard -- like, I was concerned. she wasn't hateful, just totally disengaged. didn't meet anyone's eyes. said "thank you" distractedly to compliments (I said something inane, I think), without, it appeared, really hearing them. signed the few closest programs (or Voyager memorabilia -- which I thought was quite tactless) and then quickly scuttled off into a waiting car. it was highly awkward.
