Thing 1 - The Cast of 'Downton Abbey' Being Totally Un-Downton-Like --

Thing 2 -- 'Downton' Cast at the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards -- Check them out! Mrs. Patmore (love the coat), Molesley, Mrs. Hughes (love the hair), Ivy, Daisy (love the hair), Mary, Dr. Clarkson (what a nice-looking man).

Thing 3 -- Maggie Smith wins Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the 2014 SAG Awards.

Thing 4 -- Which 'Downton Abbey' Character Are You? -- I'm Violet. Really. I didn't rig the results at all (like picking the color 'violet' or anything).

Oh, is that four things? Well, whaddaya know?

I'm amazed, once again, what difference it makes to a face to have the hair up or let down. No matter the roles or characters in the series, I confess I much prefer them all to wear their hair up, or in a much more severe style than no these pics... ;o)
