In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you did not create. See if you can rec fanworks that are less likely to be praised: tiny fandoms, rare pairings, fanworks other than stories, lesser-known kinks or tropes. Find fanworks that have few to no comments, or creators new to a particular fandom who maybe aren't well known or appreciated. Appreciate them.

Can't. Can't do it -- not a mere three works.

So instead, I'm going to link you to a meme I invented in 2012 -- "The Mars Meme," in which you choose one -- just ONE -- work per flist member to take with you to Mars.

I'm reposting the list I made in 2012, so if you're among the friends who have joined my flist since then, you're not represented (sorry! I look forward to adding you at some point.) And of course, the list doesn't include anything written after August, 2012. But there's still plenty to be getting on with.

I started making a Mars List of my own the day you posted yours, and working on it periodically ever since, and I still have not been able to finish it. I am in awe.
