In your own space, promote three communities, challenges, blogs, pages, Twitters, Tumblrs or platforms and explain why you love them.
I toyed with a variety of focuses -- favorite still-acticve HP fests, favorite rec communities, favorite now-defunct HP fests -- but in the end, I've decided just to be eclectic. So here are some random faves:
My Favorite "How to Write British if You're an American" Site":

hp_britglish -- an excellent resource for British customs, phrasings, and spellings. It's saved me many a time.
My Favorite "Icons of HP Idiocy" Site:
The now unfortunately-defunctbabb_icons. In its heyday, it posted icons based on silly lines from HP fanfics. If you're on LJ, my icon for this post is an example. Hilarious.
My Favorite Namesake Site:
hp_oldladysb -- When I was a Harry Potter newbie, obsessed with the character of Minerva McGonagall and the other "old ladies" of the Potterverse, I searched desperately for fics featuring my favorite characters. Initially, I was unsuccessful (apparently there weren't enough pervs who wanted to read about people over 40 having sex), and I despaired. Then -- by sheer luck and constant googling -- I found this site, the Old Lady Smut Brigade. It wasn't terribly active, but it existed. I joined, read the entries, posted some fics, got some response, met other like-minded fans, and soon was established in my own coven of dear friends, the OLSB. *waves* Among us, we've managed not only to keep this community alive, but we've established a lovely niche of old-lady fics in HP.
