Hmm, what a nice surprise (to say the least) amidst all the - wonderful!- Minerva Stories of her Fest, this month.

What a believable pair they are here and I must say that I found it a very hot story - I loved it very much. Or should I say I love your Wilhelmina and Aberforth very much?!

It is such a 'grounded' story (I'm not exactly sure what I mean with that, in this case, but it's the word that comes to mind) with Aberforth's senses, smell foremost, so vividly and prominently mentioned, his memories and references to daily life in the village and school. Only a small story and yet it is very full: it tells a lot about him especially, but also about Willa.

It's, for me, very easy to step in Aberforth's character and feel with him, to imagine what you've written and let it come alive. And if I said it was 'hot', it's also a lot more than that: beautiful, touching, intense, full of meaning and I got a feeling as if you've written it with a lot of love and care.

The writing, being of a 'very high order', in my opinion, resulted in many noticeable lines (as usual :-)...hope to mention some tomorrow, but it's so late now, should post my comment and sleep. :-)

Thanks! It's a wonderful little story!
