This is fantastic. Such down-to-earth, dry, real characters, with such human idiosyncrasies. And I adore stories where human emotion and attraction isn't neat; where straight men are attracted to mannish lesbians, and mannish lesbians will make occasional exceptions for irascible goatherders. The emotion in it is understated but very real - they're both very beautiful seen through the lens of their affection for each other.
