Old People Recs, Day 3

hoggywartyxmas has finished posting for the year.

On the one hand, this is very depressing news. hoggywartyxmas is one of my very favorite HP fests: not only is the quality of the entries uniformly high, but they all feature the older characters of the Potterverse. For two glorious weeks at Christmas-time, Hoggywarty gives us get two wonderful presents a day; I constantly refresh my flist, impatient to see each new gift. So, yeah, the idea that hoggywartyxmas is over for another year is depressing indeed.

But otoh, the end of Hoggywarty is like the end of Christmas Day -- true, all the intriguing, beautiful packages may have been unwrapped, but they're still sitting in their boxes under the tree, waiting to be re-examined and enjoyed.

So if you haven't already seen the lovely hoggywartyxmas gifts, hurry right over to the comm and indulge yourself.

Through heroic restraint, I have limited myself to only six recs, though really, there isn't a single entry I didn't enjoy.
