Minerva Gets a Tumble (r)
Nov. 23rd, 2013 10:46 amI don't have a Tumblr account -- for one thing, I prefer a forum with more chance for chat, and for another, I already waste enough time as it is. And Tumblr, by all accounts, is a time-suck of the first water.
But the other day, someone sent me a link to a Tumblr account called "Wizarding Wednesday," where people post art based on a weekly prompt. Last week's prompt was "Minerva McGonagall."
So run over here to the Minerva archive for fascinating art. There's a huge range: a lot of pictures portray Minerva as everyone's worst nightmare of an ancient battle-axe, while some are lovely. Some have ignored the black hair of canon, some have not. Some are clearly influenced by the movies, while others are quite original. All of them are worth looking at.
I don't love them all, but there are quite a few that are going directly to my keeper file.
