I haven't watched much TV since 2002 (when I moved to a new house and didn't bother to get the cable hooked up), though I did keep up with certain shows (like The Sopranos) by sponging on friends. Still, even without an actual set, you can keep up with certain things via the miracle of modern technology (i.e., the internet and Netflix). But when I think back, I realize that even with my TV drought of the last decade, I've spend thousands of hours watching television.
