But I think Edward Ferrars is a spineless drip!
And sorry, but Emma Thompson is far too old to be Elinor.
Oh, well, at least I'm not Marianne. Or Fanny.
Of the quiz options, I think I'm Anne Elliot.
But overall, I don't think I'm any Austen character, really. I mean, consider:
Mary Crawford -- I'd like to be Mary, but she's more ruthless than I could be).
Jane Fairfax -- I'd like to be Jane, but then *shudder* I'd have to marry Frank.
Mrs Croft is great -- but she spends all that time on 18th-century ships. Ugh.
Mrs. Weston -- okay, but then there's Mr. Weston. . .
Lady Russell -- fine, she's a possibility. (She gets reviled for having warned Anne not to marry Wentworth initially, but given the situation at the time, I think she was right.)
Jane Bennet -- If I tried to look at the world the way Jane does, I'd spontaneously combust.
Charlotte Lucas -- Yes, I like Charlotte. But there's no way I could deal with Mr Collins, not even if I did what Charlotte does and found a lot of ways to get him out of the house. He'd have to come to bed eventually, and frankly, Ijust don't think that much of England. Or of the entire planet.
I'll just be Lady Catherine. Everyone hates her, but she doesn't care. And she's rich.
