Made It!

I arrived safely at my brother's, and I'm now sitting happily in the local Starbuck's, using their free wifi and swilling strong tea. Thank you, dear flist, for your good-travel wishes; I'll get around to individual responses when I have more computer time.

Today we went book-hunting, and I found a couple of very nice upgrades for my collection. The weather has turned amazingly cold again -- more like early March than mid-May, so I had to borrow warmer clothes from my sister.

I'll check in again soon, perhaps even with something more interesting to report than a weather bulletin.
