Relieved

Well, the scary medical tests are over, they were only mildly unpleasant, and they have revealed nothing to worry about. The doctor still isn't sure exactly what caused the problem, but it's not any of the serious things he feared. So we are going to wait and see. If the problem recurs, I'll have further tests. If not, then all is fine. (There are a couple of other possible explanations for the symptoms, neither of which is dangerous).

Whew. I'm sure that one of these days, I'll get that serious diagnosis that I fear, but for the moment, another bullet has been dodged.

The first post-break week of school is over. That's the best that can be said about it. Moving on. . .

Tomorrow night, I'm attending my annual charity wine-tasting bash. Last year's bash featured reasonable wines and dreadful food. I have no reason to believe that things will be different this year. I plan to eat something before I go.

Last year, I see that I also mentioned that I had finished a draft of my story for hp_beholder. I am determined to be able to make the same report tomorrow, when I hammer out my drunken assessment of the wine-tasting. My draft has to be to my beta (thank you!) by Sunday, and it's going to be. So there.

And now, you're not going to hear another peep out of me (Peep! See icon) until hp_beholder is drafted, and my beta work is complete.
