Hmm.

Ah, well.  I guess 46 is quite an age when you're 20. I remember being completely shocked to learn that Paul Newman was 60; to my mind at the time, that made him pretty much a dead man walking. Next stop -- coffin.

When my best friend and I turned 16, we said to her great-aunt (then about 65), "If you could be any age, what would it be?"
 
"Thirty-five," she said, and we were horrified; she might as well have said ninety.  I think we took that answer as evidence that she was beginning that inexorable slide into drooling senility.

And speaking of 20, Happy 20th Birthday, Cranky__Crocus!! I know that you don't find 40-somethings too old to be hot.
