Holiday Fic Recs #2

As readers' RLs get busier, comments on fest fics seem to be dropping off a bit (at least for things that aren't Next Gen or H/D). But great stories and art are still being posted. Here are some of my recent favorites:

From Kinkfest on daily_deviant:

At Long Last (Dumbledore/Slughorn; NC-17) -- ART -- NWS -- The world needs more graphic, hot depictions of old-person sex. This one is gorgeous, warts (literally) and all.

From hp_yule_balls:

A Hogamany Carol (McGonagall/Hooch) -- This fine story pushes all my favorite buttons: hot femmeslash, witty Minerva, excruciating Molly, sexy Minerva, wondefully-subtle Dumbledore crit, edgy Minerva, spot-on-Dickens refs, honest Minerva, muscular Hooch. . .and, oh, yeah, Minerva. Loved this.

From snapelyholidays:

The Caretaker (Snape/Filch) -- Yes, that's Argus Filch. I just adored this fic. Filch's voice is priceless; the story is tender and hot and snarky and believable.

Magical Hazard: Handle With Care (Snape/Neville) -- This pairing isn't one I could have imagined believing (and even here, Neville's attraction isn't completely explained), but the story is so well-written, with such imaginative use of magical plants and such wonderful portrayals of Snape and Neville and Sprout (and even a Minerva cameo) that I loved it.

From regular LJs!:

Wedding Dress by snarkyscorp -- (Narcissa/Agnese Zabini [Blaise's mum]) -- This story is without question the hottest piece of PG-13 I've ever read. It has corsets, breathplay, and dead-on, fabulous portraits of entitled purebloods at play.

The Scot and the Snake by joanwilder -- (McGonagall/Snape) --almost (but not quite) crack!fic, but great fun. Bickering as foreplay: who could do it better than my het OTP?
