Remix 2015!

The archive for the 2015 Remix fest opened this afternoon. And to my delighted surprise, my anonymous author chose to remix one of my OLSB rarepairs: Wilhelmina Grubbly-Plank/Irma Pince.

My original story was the first-ever fic I wrote for daily_deviant back in 2011: it's called Miss Grubbly-Plank Finds Herself, and it was written for the prompt of "sexology."

I had such a fun time writing that story, but I thought that it (and the pairing) were something of an acquired taste, interesting only to OLSB crones and their allies. So I never expected it to be chosen for a remix. But I'm very glad it was. For her new version, the author chose a different plot and timeline from my original, though she kept the characterizations remain intact (always important to me). I love book- and library-fic, and this remix gives me both.
