Sad News

In case you haven't yet seen the sad announcement, I'm very sorry to report the death of leni_jess. Here's the notice from her brother and sister in Australia.

Several of us in the OLSB coven met Leni in person last summer at DiaCon Alley, and recently we've been following her blog of her long trip through the UK. She was thoughtful, funny, perceptive, intelligent, a fine writer. I'm so sorry, Leni.

In fandom, I knew her mostly as a Snape-centric writer who contributed excellent stories to so many of my favorite fests: Snapely_Holidays, HP_Beholder, Snapecase.

Oh, hell. Thank you very much for posting this here; I might not have known otherwise. I never got to meet Leni in real life, but she was a great writer and a really sweet person who was encouraging to me at a time I really needed it.
