The HP femmefest is currently posting, and imagine my joy when I found LONG MINERVA/ROLANDA story amid all the usual Hermione/Ginny/Luna/Pansy/Cho combinations.

And not just any Minerva/Rolanda fic -- it's a delightfully witty, clever story with spot-on characterizations, exquisite turns of phrase, beautiful scenery, a wonderfully campy Albus, a perfect A.S.S of a Gilderoy Lockhart, a well-muscled and sexy Rolanda, and best of all, a capable, forthright, wry, to-die-for IC Minerva.

Plus a treasure chest of dildos.

I definitely second this (fabulously-written) rec! As you've perhaps seen, I've written a long comment, but I've recced this fic only privately to therealsnape. Could have recced to you, but I suspected the MA were you! There is something about these older ladies and perhaps also some other fascinating (or irritating) adult canon characters that helps make fics truly fun and excellent in every way. Or perhaps it's something about the writers who prefer these characters?

Totally seconding this recommendation, the fic is just _so_ good! It's rare to find lnger fics with the older characters, and Minerva in this fic is just so perfect and in character and omg, competent women who are good at what they're doing and other women being attracted to just that is pretty much my favourite thing to read about.

I just relished every line of this story; wish it had been twice as long. I'm always pleased on those rare occasions that the older women turn up in Femmefest; they're my favorite thing, too.
