I asked for Poppy/Amelia as a pairing, and my kinks were "smoking and butch/femme dynamic." Here was my prompt: When they take their annual holiday at a Muggle hotel, Amelia Bones and Poppy Pomfrey enjoy the chance to be just "Amelia" and "Poppy" instead of "Head of MLE/Auror Bones" and "Matron/Healer Pomfrey."
And wow, did my Mystery Author ever deliver. It's a well-written, atmospheric fic with excellent characterization. Butch!Amelia is totally swoon-worthy ("crisp shirt"! waistcoat!), and just wait till you get to Poppy in her whisper of red silk chiffon.
Go and read A Single Redeeming Vice. You'll be glad you did.
