Being. . .KM

I just saw the movie Being Julia with Annette Bening and Jeremy Irons.  It was quite fun -- not profound, just fun.  The role of Julia is an actor's dream, and Bening was top-notch.  But the whole time I was watching her, I kept imagining Kate Mulgrew in the part.  It was eerie -- I could almost see and hear her.  I know that, with a few exceptions, TV stars don't usually find big-screen success, so I'm sure KM would never have been considered for the part.  But she would have been great.  And playing a diva probably wouldn't have been too much of a stretch.
