Wow. Those stats are downright shaming. I don't think I could write a hundred thousand words of anything in a year. Ever. Let alone tightly-shaped stories full of highly developed characters and imaginative worlds. Brava. (And also: I'm a little afraid of you.)

Funny – and revealing (about me) – that I've always thought the 'story that made you cry' question meant 'because you are so frustrated with your total incapacity as a writer and know you'll never write a decent word again because you are terrible and everything you write is terrible and terrible terrible terrible!'. I am a crier, but I agree that it would be a strange experience indeed to weep for the content of my writing.

And man, there are a lot of stories here that I missed. Excuse me whilst I go off to bookmark them in a highly enthusiastic fashion.
